Tailor-made DP system for a custom designed tug.

Navis Engineering is to supply DP-2 system for the fourth infield support vessel of the KOTUG GROUP operated by KT Maritime Australia Ltd. and currently under construction at Damen Shipyard Sharjah, UAE.

The Innovative ART100-46 class vessel designed by Robert Allan Ltd with support of KOTUG’s newbuilding department is developed and custom build to support a wide scope of long term contracted offshore operations.
To address the challenges of the towing operations and FPSO handling, specific control modes were developed. Which, in combination with the Rotortug configuration, provides great advantages.

The NAVIS DP-2 system was also chosen specifically to fit into the compact ALPHABRIDGE designed by Alphatron keeping a clear and unobstructed view from the bridge.
