Six Vessels Equipped with Navis Systems in the UAE – A Joint Project with KDU Group

Six high-performance pilot vessels operating in the UAE have recently been equipped with NJoy Joystick and NavAP Autopilot systems, significantly enhancing their maneuverability, control precision, and operational safety.

The project was professionally carried out by our regional sales and service partner — KDU Group. With support from Navis Engineering engineers, their team ensured smooth integration and successful commissioning of the systems. These vessels now benefit from more efficient and responsive control — a key advantage in the demanding conditions of pilotage operations.

The NJoy system provides crews with intuitive joystick control and automatic position keeping — a solution specifically designed for small workboats where simplicity and reliability are essential. The vessels are now capable of maintaining precise heading and position control, while rapidly adapting to dynamic conditions in complex navigational settings.
