Zwerver III Enhances Offshore Capabilities with Navis Dynamic Positioning Control System
Operating across a wide range of offshore projects, Zwerver III has built a reputation as a versatile and reliable support vessel. From offshore construction and survey operations to diving support, cable handling and renewable energy projects, the vessel is designed to perform in demanding environments where precision and operational efficiency are essential.
To further strengthen these capabilities, Zwerver III has recently been equipped with a Navis DP1 Dynamic Positioning Control system. The upgrade was successfully completed through close cooperation between Van Stee Offshore, Alphatron Marine and Navis Engineering.
Dynamic Positioning technology enables the vessel to automatically maintain its position and heading, supporting safer and more efficient operations during offshore tasks where accuracy is critical. For a multipurpose vessel such as Zwerver III, this means greater flexibility when working in confined areas, near offshore structures and during operations that require precise station keeping.
The project reflects a shared commitment to providing vessel operators with practical and reliable solutions that enhance operational performance while supporting future offshore and renewable energy activities.
