SMM 2026: Navis Engineering Presents Its Latest Developments in Vessel Control
For many years, SMM in Hamburg has been a regular part of the Navis Engineering exhibition calendar. Every two years, we return to Hamburg to meet our customers and partners, present our latest developments and discuss ongoing and upcoming projects.
From 1–4 September, our team participated in SMM 2026, presenting our vessel motion control solutions.
One of the key highlights this year was our New Compact Navigation Platform, which attracted strong interest from potential partners, system integrators and industry peers. The positive response validated Navis Engineering’s strategy to develop compact, open and scalable navigation and control solutions for next-generation vessel applications. The concept demonstrated clear potential for OEM integration, flexible system architecture and deployment across a wide range of professional and commercial vessel segments.
Visitors also had the opportunity to try our DP simulator and discuss the features and applications of Navis systems directly with our specialists.
Throughout the four days, we met with existing customers and partners, discussed new vessel projects and established new contacts.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and took the time to meet with our team. We look forward to continuing the discussions started in Hamburg.
