NavDP4000 onboard Van Stee Offshore fleet

Navis Engineering Oy NavDP4000 in DP2 configuration had been chosen for Zwerver I the new vessel in Van Stee Offshore fleet. The vessel had been recently refitted at Kooiman Shipyard and is the third vessel in Van Stee Offshore fleet equipped with Navis NavDP control system.

Zwerver I is shallow water multipurpose offshore support vessel equipped with wide range of equipment to made different kind of offshore works like Cable repair, Diving operations, Trenching, Towing and etc. where NavDP control system will support with fast maneuverability due the fastest DP algorithms on the market and precise control over four azimuth thrusters, 2 fixed pitch propellers in nozzles with double rudders and two bow tunnel thrusters the vessel equipped.

DP system is certified according to the Bureau Veritas DYNAPOS AM/AT R rules and successfully passed Sea trials this month.
