Annual DP trials succeeded remotely

Navis makes further progress in remote services following success of remote commissioning and sea trials.

MCA Consulting has successfully finished pilot remote annual DP trials for OSV vessel with use of our newly developed smart tool - Navis NavReport. 

Collaboration between our companies provided to shipowner flexible, cost and time saving approach for fully remote annual DP trials:

• no surveyor onboard vessel operating in distant country with limited access – no travel expenses and COVID risks for both crew & surveyor;
• no need to make all tests in a row in one day, vessel made tests when had time and was on standby – no expenses on wasting time and no stress for crew under attendance of surveyor;
• reliable and accurate data representation of each test in user friendly form for surveyor in report made by Navis NavReport.
