COVID-19: fully remote commissioning and service
Nowadays Navis Engineering successfully apply its experience in remote commissioning and tuning of control systems in spite of lockdown, closed borders and travel limits.
Two DP control systems have just been commissioned in Netherlands in spite of all limitations. Navis service team remotely supported on-site Alphatron Marine engineers. It should be highlighted that one of systems has integrated remote thruster control system however remote assistance from our side was enough for fine tuning and to achieve all trials goals.
Navis was always well known for variety of remote services and support. COVID-19 did not change the situation – fleet with Navis made control systems is fully serviceable worldwide, our service team and service agents are on duty as usual.
